PRECIOUS PEARL – <\/strong>Joia Rara<\/em> – 2013\/14<\/p>\n “Precious Pearl” is a\u00a0Brazilian\u00a0TV Show produced and broadcast by\u00a0Rede Globo. Winner of an International Emmy \u2013 2014.\u00a0 It tells the story of Pearl, a little girl that is the reincarnation of a great Buddhist monk. Pearl’s mission in life is to teach people how to love unconditionally. This 1940\u2019s period story was shot in Rio de Janeiro and Nepal.<\/span><\/p>\n Daniel Gras Pujalt was responsible for the Production Design and Art Production of the scenes shot in Katmandu, Nepal, in the ancient historical sites of Patan and Bhaktapur. Creating sets and modifying the existing structures to portray historically accurate setting and convey the complex and remote look of the Himalayas in the 40\u2019s. It took 30 days of pre-production and filming.
